Michael Winkleman serves as Vice President of Marketing at National Medical Billing Services. In his role, Michael oversees and guides marketing efforts to drive National Medical’s growth and success. His extensive experience in healthcare marketing informs his strategic approach to National Medical’s marketing efforts. By utilizing analytics and data, Michael brings modern and measurable tactics to sharing National Medical’s premier services.
With over 15 years in his field, Michael is no stranger to the challenges one faces in marketing and branding. He draws from his deep well of experience to deliver optimal strategies and solutions. He utilizes his strong leadership skills to guide both small and large marketing teams. His knowledge and expertise in marketing also enables him to develop and organize processes and systems that enable the measurement and tracking of KPI’s. Michael was the founder and Principal at PatientX, a thriving healthcare marketing agency, for the last 12 years, which makes him a uniquely experienced member of National Medical’s executive team. He has shared his experience at numerous conferences, such as The College of Radiology, College of Anesthesiology, IMP Leadership Conference, South Dakota Association of Hospitals Organization, Physician Hospitals of America, and Great Plains Quality Innovation Network, just to name a few. His work can be found in several print and online publications, such as Becker’s Healthcare Review, Midwest Med, Med News, and Avera Cancer Magazine.
When he isn’t working, Michael enjoys being with family. He coaches basketball, loves taking his kids fishing every weekend, and he enjoys traveling with his wife. Michael’s other passions include barbecue, motorcycles, baseball, rock climbing, and hiking.
