VICE PRESIDENT, CODING
Gina joined the National Medical team in 2014 as the Vice President of Coding. She brought 14 years of experience developing and managing a clinical coding department and compliance program with 134 employees covering 600 providers throughout 10 states. Her unique blend of strengths has paved the way for her success leading National Medical’s skilled coding department, ensuring maximized reimbursement for physicians while maintaining the highest regulatory standards.
Gina continually educates providers and National Medical’s coders in regards to accuracy and completeness of medical documentation, coding and billing in accordance with compliance policies and federal, state and local regulatory compliance requirements.
Gina has been a Certified Professional Coder for over 10 years, is an AHIMA approved ICD-10 – CM/PCS Trainer and possesses a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Gina enjoys an active lifestyle including kickboxing, attending her children’s sports activities, shopping and decorating. When she is not on the go, Gina loves to sit back and watch movies.
