National Medical Billing Services, a national healthcare revenue cycle management company that specializes in servicing ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and their affiliated surgeons, will sponsor Duke University Men’s Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s Keynote Address at Becker’s 11th Annual Orthopedic, Spine, and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference.
As the winningest coach in NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball history, “Coach K” has been the head coach of Duke University for 33 seasons. During that time, he has led teams to four National Championship titles and 11 Final Four appearances. He is also a Hall of Fame coach and 12-time National Coach of the Year. In addition to his success in the college arena, Krzyzewski has also guided the USA Men’s National Team to win four gold medals, including those in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. Krzyzewski is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, where he played collegiate basketball. From 1969-1974, he served his country, resigning from the Army after having attained the rank of Captain. After assisting Bob Knight at Indiana University, Krzyzewski was the head coach of his alma mater for five years.
“Coach K’s success both on and off the basketball court is a testament to his outstanding leadership and work ethic,” says Nader Samii, Chief Executive Officer of National Medical. “We are honored to sponsor his keynote address and look forward to gaining insights on teamwork and leadership from such an accomplished individual.”
Krzyzewski will deliver the Keynote Address: Victory Through Teamwork and Leadership on Thursday, June 13 at 4:55 p.m. to surgeons, physician leaders, administrators and ASC business and clinical leaders from across the U.S.
The conference, June 13-15 at the Westin Hotel in Chicago, focuses exclusively on orthopedic, spine and pain-management-driven ASCs. Attendees will learn ways to manage challenging clinical, business and financial issues.
