National Medical Billing Services Raises more than $6000 for Childrens’ Charities

St. Louis, October 7, 2019 – National Medical Billing Services held its first annual trivia night fund raiser on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Employees from both the Chesterfield, MO and Cuba, MO locations spent the evening in friendly competition while raising more than $6,000 for Mid-Ozark CASA and Friday Backpacks for Cuba.

“National Medical has, by far, the very best employees,” said Lisa Rock, President, National Medical Billing Services. “I am so proud of this group and the amount they raised for these very special organizations.”

Mid-Ozark CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children covers five rural counties in Missouri: Crawford, Dent, Iron, Reynolds, and Wayne. More than 200 children in that area are in foster care, CASA helps assure these children have a voice in the court system through trained court appointed volunteers.

Friday Backpacks for Cuba provide local school children with kid-friendly, nutritious food. The food is packed in nondescript backpacks and given to the children on Friday so that they have food to eat over the weekend.
