National Medical Billing Services, a national healthcare revenue cycle management company specializing in servicing ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and their affiliated surgeons, today announced the company was named to the 2013 Global Outsourcing 100 list by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) within the list’s “Rising Stars” category. This is the second year in a row National Medical has earned this honor.

  • Best 10 Rising Stars – Health Care
  • Best 10 Rising Stars – Employee Growth
  • Best 10 Rising Stars – Revenue Growth
  • Best 5 Rising Stars – Industry Specific Services
  • Best 5 Rising Stars – Most Employees in the U.S.

The Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world’s best outsourcing service providers. The complete list is featured in a special advertising section of the May 20 Fortune 500 issue of FORTUNE® magazine.

“We are honored to be recognized for the second year in a row alongside industry leaders such as Accenture, Unisys, and Capgemini,” says Nader Samii, Chief Executive Officer of National Medical Billing Services. “ASCs nationwide depend on National Medical to deliver the expertise, client service and results that help them succeed. To be named a top performer within the Health Care industry further verifies the commitment we make to provide the most sophisticated outsourcing solutions to our ASC clients.”

An esteemed jury of experienced outsourcing buyers was led by IAOP Chief Advisor, Thought Leadership, Jagdish Dalal, COP and President of JDalal Associates, LLC. The top 100 outsourcing providers were chosen based on four critical characteristics:

  1. Size and growth.
  2. Customer experiences as demonstrated through the value being created by the company’s top customers.
  3. Depth and breadth of competencies as demonstrated through industry recognition, relevant certifications and investment in the development of people, processes, and technologies.
  4. Management capabilities as reflected in the experience and accomplishments of the business’ top leaders and investments in management systems that ensure outsourcing success.

“Global competition is at an all-time high, which is reflected in this year’s rankings,” said IAOP CEO, Debi Hamill. “This comes at a time when companies that outsource are scrutinizing their providers more closely. The Global Outsourcing 100 is the only guide to help companies research and compare service providers with whom they are considering outsourcing relationships.”
