Lisa Rock, President of National Medical Billing Services has been selected as one of Small Business Monthly’s (SBM) Top Women Business Owners for 2016.
The magazine’s annual award is based on nominations and selection from a committee of previous winners. SBM began honoring Top Women Business Owners 24 years ago to promote the entrepreneurial talents of area women and to encourage more women to become business owners. More than 300 outstanding women entrepreneurs have been featured through the annual search that encompasses the entire St. Louis area.
“I’m honored to have been selected for this prestigious award. Hundreds of thank yous need to go to old friends, new friends, family, great employees, great clients and the best business partner on the planet,” Rock said.
National Medical Billing Services is committed to attracting and developing employees in line with the company’s core values: bringing highly passionate people together under a common cause, working extremely hard, improving continuously, delivering excellence to our clients – and having a blast every day. The company has been recognized on multiple occasions as a Top 100 Global Outsourcing Company as published by Fortune magazine, an Employees’ Choice Award from Glassdoor, named a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post Dispatch, a Best Places to Work recipient by Modern Healthcare and named as 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker’s Hospital Review. Most of these prestigious awards are derived entirely from anonymous employee feedback.
“It’s exciting to see National Medical grow and provide wonderful opportunities for great people in Missouri,” added Rock.
