National Medical is the keynote sponsor at the 15th Annual Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Future of Spine, an annual conference hosted by Becker’s ASC Review at the Swissotel in Chicago. The conference is the premier meeting for this specialized ASC community, bringing together surgeons, physician leaders, administrators and ASC business and clinical leaders to discuss making ASC bottom line improvements, and addressing key clinical, business and financial issues.
Nader Samii, CEO of National Medical, will deliver introductory remarks on Thursday, June 22, to open the meeting, featuring former NFL running back, Marcus Allen as the keynote speaker. A former Heisman Trophy winner and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Allen is known as one of the greatest NFL and collegiate running backs to ever play the game. Allen started with the NFL in 1982, and during his 16-year career, he set countless records and earned a number of awards, including Super Bowl MVP and NFL Rookie of the Year.
Lisa Rock, President of National Medical Billing Services, will be a featured speaker, sharing her in-depth knowledge on key topics facing this unique industry. Lisa’s first session, “Revenue Cycle Pitfalls, Challenges and More,” will take place on Thursday, June 22, 1:15 – 1:55 p.m. CDT. Her second speech, “Tough Coding and Billing Issues for Spine and Pain Management,” will be held on Friday, June 23, 1:05 – 1:50 p.m. CDT. Lisa will discuss the most complex and challenging reimbursement issues facing spine and pain management and will provide cutting-edge, best practice methodologies that have proven to maximize revenue while keeping the surgery centers highly compliant. She will also serve as a panelist for the session, “Improving Revenue Cycle for ASCs,” on Friday, June 23, 1:55 – 2:35 p.m. CDT.
