Alison Kuley, a trained ICD-10 coder with National Medical Billing Services and one of the preeminent experts in the field of spine coding, will be a featured speaker this week in Woodbridge, N.J., at the Surgery Center Coalition’s quarterly meeting.
The speech, “ICD-10 – The Home Stretch,” will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 4 – 7 p.m. EST at the offices of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer. Alison will provide best practice advice for an efficient transition to ICD- 10, with an emphasis on the steps surgery centers should be taking right now to minimize cash flow disruption during this difficult transition period, and outline key last-minute information as the code set’s October 1 implementation deadline nears.
SCC’s quarterly meeting is a premier ASC community gathering, featuring industry experts who educate ASC personnel on current surgery center policies, procedures, and regulations.
