National Medical is participating as a speaker at the Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association’s (MASA) 2017 Annual Education Day at the Soaring Eagle Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Speaking at the annual conference on September 15th will be Senior Vice President of Coding, Jessica Edmiston, BS, CPC, CASCC, AHIMA Approved ICD-10 Trainer, and Vice President of Coding Compliance, Tamara Wagner, CPC. Their first session, “Tough Coding & Billing Scenarios,” will take place from 9:45 am – 11:00 am. The second session, “Coding Pitfalls for Spine and Pain Management,” will be held from 11:15 am – 12:30 pm. Their last session, “Orthopedic Coding Scenarios – Shoulders & Knees,” takes place from 2:45 pm – 4 pm.
The Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association acts as an advocate for its ambulatory surgery center members, offers educational opportunities, and provides a forum for disseminating information valuable to the running of high quality, cost-efficient centers.
